We will discuss and agree the most appropriate method and confirm this in writing before we start the recruitment brief. Our services can also be tailored to identify specific sectors, companies and individuals. This more flexible approach enables us to adapt to your organisation's particular requirements.

This remains the most appropriate method for senior and/or specialised roles where there is a high level of confidentiality.  The candidates will tend to meet very tight specifications, and may not be actively looking to move, so may only respond to a direct approach.

 

Candidates are also increasingly sought who can bring a broader range of skills gained in other sectors.  Our research and established contact base across our industry group reflects this.

When conducting a search assignment we may, if appropriate, support this with a broadly worded advertisement to help identify candidates from the industry or those actively seeking a career move. 

 

On some occasions it is better to wait and see if a candidate we have identified through our search replies to an advertisement before making a direct approach.  We stress that advertising would be utilised only to support the search process.

Advertised recruitment remains a highly effective method to attract mid to senior level candidates.  We advertise in the press eg. Sydney Morning Herald, Financial Review, Melbourne Age and The Australian in addition to a number of industry specific publications and various web based job boards.  This is usually anonymous although in some cases it could be more powerful to advertise with your logo and name.

 

We advise on how, when and where to advertise.  We then draft copy which must be approved by you before being placed with our advertising agency. 

 

Candidates who respond to a specific advertisement are kept exclusively for your job and we will present the shortlist within two weeks of the advertisement being placed.  At all times during the assignment, we will keep in close contact with you to keep you apprised of our progress.
